I thought one of the best concerts I ever saw was during the Joshua Tree tour in 87 but Im happy to say last night's show at MSG topped even that. Bono and the boys had the crowd in a frenzy from the get go, and didnt let up for a second. Highlights included the performance of "One" with the names of the victims scrolling behind the band on a screen that also projected them onto the ceiling of the Garden, filling the room with names we will never forget. On a pure song related note, Bono and the Edge's rendition of Stay( far away so close) was probably the most heartfelt and purest performance I ever have seen and heard by a live musical act, and that says a lot considering Ive been lucky enough to see most of my musical heroes several times. If you are a music fan you wont want to miss this show, if you are or ever have been a U2 fan, you simply cant miss it.
