2005-09-22 - Agree the best ever submitted by ScottThis was the best U2 gig I have seen including the 4 shows on the current tour that I got to and the shows on every tour since the Joshua Tree tour came to Scotland in 87. My friend Grant and I were in the heart. The atmosphere was electric. Nearly passed out with excitement during Elevation - which was huge. But the trilogy to beat all was Stay, Bad (with spoken excerpt of 40 - similar to the spoken Psalm 116 ["what can I give back to God etc.."]version which appears in the Live from Boston DVD)and Streets. It just doesn't get better. As a soundtrack to my life moment it was important for me because of stuff I was going through at the time but what a setlist! Read it and weep if you didn't catch an Elevation tour date. I think we'll look back and think that this was their finest hour (of ever so many to choose from obviously). All power to them. back
