The show was just amazing . The crowd was another story. Having seen the unforgetable fire, joshua tree, zoo station and pop shows. bono tried several times to get a flow/reaction from the crowd with no avail. I guess the energy that U2 bring was too much for our younger audience. majority of the crowd did not know the words to even the popular songs which in turn took a lot of the spontanious momemts expected from U2. the highlight of the show had to be miss sar. I was expecting a recording of the pavarotti interlude. instead to my amazment bono sang it perfectly in full italian. The crowd did not even recognize the sheer guts and energy that the song took to play live. The clapping And singalong style are a thing of the past at a u2 show. disco tech was viewed as apunch in the face from the band. The majority of U2 fans think this is there worst offering. But for this crowd it was just right.
The band are also better in an open air stadium mean in sound and vision.U2 can carry any audience as was proof tonight.
