Review

2005-09-15 - "Wow" to quote Bono submitted by Sandi

Show was simply awesome, two encores, the last finishing with "40". They started, predictablly, with Vertigo but then treated the crowd with I Will Follow and Electric Co. Several times during the show Bono would wave the rest of the band to pull back a little and they would just listen to the crowd sing at top volume. Then they would pick it back up and finish in unison with the crowd. The video monitors caught Bono saying "wow" to the Edge several times during the show. I didn't think it possible, but possibly better than any of their old concerts I've seen. They seemed to feed off the crowd and vice versa.
