Review

2005-09-15 - An Unforgettable Night submitted by Steve M

I was fortunate enough to attend the show on Monday night, and was even more fortunate to selected to watch the show from inside the ring up front and centre! I was blown away by the bands' tightness and individual abilities. Bono was in great voice, and I found him to be sincere and passionate about the music and of the things he spoke of throughout the night. It was my first time at a U2 concert, so I thought the setlist was perfect mixing hits with fan favorites. I have been to see many other concerts with other bands -but I have never seen an audience reaction like on that night!, I'm pretty sure I actually saw Bono surprised a couple time during the night at the crowds enthusiasm. I wanted to make my voice heard because I have read some less than favorable reviews of the night, and I think these are way off the mark, On Monday Toronto welcomed U2 like long lost sons, and they gave it their all, it was a night I will never forget.
