This was the year that everyone ranted and raved about The Joshua Tree. I had not really given it a chance but had been a fan of Boy.

While vacationing in Switzerland I saw this show and was BLOWN AWAY! I returned to Canada telling anyone who would listen that U2 were the best band on the planet and that The Joshua Tree could change there life.... so I was half right but it remains in rotation on my iPod today!
