This was my 5th visit to Vertigo this summer. From the 14th of June to the 14th of August, the band have dominated my summer. I thought I had seen all there was to see when I arrived in Lisbon on Sunday, but from standing watching the band bring tears to the eyes of half the stadium in "I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For" to Bono turning from Rock & Roll singer to opera singer in Miss Sarejavo the icing was firmly placed on the cake. Well done to the Portuguese fans for making the gig so memorable. This was highlighted when the band finished the set with "Forty", the fans were still singing "How Long to Sing this Song" while leaving the stadium. Fantastic night,fantastic fans and of course, THE GREATEST BAND IN THE WORLD...!!!
