2005-07-21 - Now that was a brilliant concert! submitted by sAnerThat Friday it was pretty hot in the Amsterdam Arena, the acoustics in this glass bowl could have been a little bit better and it took forever to get dark because of the glass roof, but oh my ... what a show! Before I went to this concert I was just a moderate U2-fan. I knew their work and liked all their songs but that was about it. This show changed everything ... U2 is by far the best Live act I ever saw and their lightshow is stunning! What a night, what a show, what a perfect band! I will buy the DVD shot in the San Siro stadium in Milan as soon as it will be released. Does anyone know when that will be approximately?
Close to the Arena is the Mediamarkt and before the concert started they handed out flyers which showed all the U2 cd's and dvd's for reduced prices. Needless to say I bought a few I didn't have yet. U2, yeah! :)
I hope they will tour the world soon again as I can hardly wait for their next show in Holland!
