Review

2011-12-11 - Had to stop the show submitted by Mr Mo

The first U2 show I saw and I was part of the audience wave that ended up on stage with the band. I recall Bono jumping into the audience at one point, just a few feet from me, and he was passed around, upside down, with just his boots sticking up above the audience before he eventually ended up back on stage. There was just this fantastic energy at this show and the crowd just erupted. Literally the band had to stop the show to get folks back down off the stage! It really was incredible and I suspect the band was a bit freaked out, as this show was shorter than most if you look at the rest of the tour dates. I've seen lots of u2 shows in LA since, including the US Festival, War tour, Zoo TV and too many more to name, but this one takes the cake for me.
