The last time I saw U2 was in 1987 on the Joshua Tree Tour, what a night that was! U2 Vertigo tour 2005, I waited in anticipation could they match that evening, shouldn't have worried, what a set list, something old (I will follow, New years Day etc), something new (Vertigo, City of Blinding Lights etc), something borrowed (Unchained melody) and something blue ( Bullet the Blue Sky, Ok I tried!)!
A truely electrifying set and stage show, loads of energy, they really showed what superb band they are.
There are certain events that everbody remembers in their lives, this for me was one of those events.
Fantastic memories!
PS Starsailor and the Killers wer awesome as well!
