2005-06-27 - Brillant Concert - if we could have heard it - sound pathetic submitted by Gillian Purdy

Hi
I was at the U2 concert on Friday, seated as they were the only tickets available. The sound was pathetic - you simply couldn't hear what Bono was saying or even singing, until about the last three songs, and even then it wasn't brillant.

I'm not complaining about the concert U2 gave, as it LOOKED amazing on screen, but they should have had the sound sorted out prior to the concert. I was disappointed, and mad even, as I've seen U2 4 times and they've always been brillant, so I was really looking forward to the concert. All I can say is I came away really diappointed, on missing what looked a fantastic concert.
