Review

2011-06-30 - Never heard them better submitted by Jerry

I have been a U2 fan since 1985 and have seen them 5 times live with 3 more shows still to go on this tour. My very first concert EVER was during the JT tour. I arrived at MSU at 1:30AM wondering if the guys would mail the show in because of the EPIC Glastonbury performance then flying over the pond. I figured they would be tired as hell and that alone would make it a less then steller show. Mind you I would not have been upset one bit if they didn't play up to theirstandards after all they are in their 50'S. BOY WAS I WRONG they not only KICKED ASS, but in my opinion their set was better then what i've seen from the Glastonbury set, which has been hailed as a "career defining set". For me this only showed me what I already knew and that is this is the greatest band that has ever graced a stage and we are all lucky to witness their greatness. Enjoy U2 while you can people because they are the LAST of a dying bread and you will never see anyone touch what they have been able to do in their career.
