From what I remember, this show was excellent. Had 11th row seats with other friends from Montclair state college. The stage was very bare and so was the lighting. Remember Bono with the white flag on a large pole and he would climb the amps behind and on the side of the stage. Being the young lads they were, they were very energetic and the crowd was totally into it. I just started getting into them, so the War songs were what I knew. Sunday bloody sunday was great and so was I will follow. The capitol has since been torn down but seeing U2 at such a small place and then seeing them a few years later at Giant stadium Amnesty International concert, makes me feel really good that I had the opportunity. I am sure there are 3000 people like myself that saw that show that night and knew this band was going to be the next greatest thing.
