2005-06-22 - One of the greatest nights of my life..THANK YOU to U2 submitted by DenisDenis m 35 Glasgow (a fan for years).
Amy f 10 Glasgow (a new fan).
Took my 10 year old neice to Hampden Park in Glasgow.
She had only ever seen Westlife in concert so I asked her if she wanted to see the mighty U2 and was met with a enthusiastic 'YES that would be cool'.
She listened to some U2 music in prep for the concert. I got us T-shirts and away we went and we both loved the concert.
We sung songs, clapped and danced.
We had sore hands from clapping and tired legs from standing and a huge smile thanks to a great show.
The crowd sang wonderfully.
Think she may well be the 'coolest' kid in her school after seeing U2.
We will never forget it and wish all fans
have as great a concert as we had.
Thank you to all fans, crew and everyone who was there in any shape or form.
