Review

2005-06-22 - Why haven't I seen U2 before now? submitted by Micky B

Sunday at Twickers was the first time for me and what a show. Best concert I've been to by a country mile.

The highlights? Well the first half hour was an onslaught - amazing. Opening and closing with Vertigo - totally inspired and I've never seen that many people go quite that mad when they played it second time round. But for me personally, 'I still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For' going straight into 'Wild Horses' was breathtaking, and I felt privileged being there.

People had told me the acoustics at Twickenham were awful. I didn't think they were that bad given the scale of the place. As it got darker, the stage and light show added a brilliant dimension to what was already a great performance.

Tickets were a birthday present from Shirl, Sarah and Vic. Can’t thank you enough - when can we go again?
