Review

2011-06-09 - And I Still Havn't Found.....But they Still Got submitted by BC in Sac

The new U2 show had alot going right. But it also made three pretty big mistakes.

The Mistakes. 1. Don't Play your signature song. They did not play I Still Havn't Found What I'm Looking For. This is like Billy Joel not playing Piano Man. Or Heuy Lewis not playing "Power of Love. 2. Don't end your show with a depressing song. Unknown Caller- really? Compounds mistake number one and chooses politics as the end game instead of fan satisfaction. 3. Start on Time. A Year late and a start time of 9:30 means we had to leave during the last song to avoid BART closing.

Bravos. 1. Spectacular light show. The claw's huge and flexible size screen was superbly choreographed with the music. 2. Sound. Best stadium sound set up I have ever seen. Even at the McCartney concert there was echo...but not at this concert. Well done. 3. Passion for the music...they still got it.
