Attended both Tuesday and Wednesday gigs as a volunteer steward (one of the 'helpful' ones as opposed to the morons in black!!!!) so had the benefit of being able to move round the ground during the gig. Had to miss the first couple of songs plus the encore (sad I know but as I didnt have to pay, can't complaint at all :):):)) The sound on the pitch was amazing but got a little wooly towards the back as the rear speakers were set a little high so caused a lot of distortion & echo.

The gig itself was unsurpassed, an excellent blend of old & new. The Edge just keeps getting better. Bono's vocals excellent as ever, and Adam Clayton & Larry Mullen Jr were awesome too!

I can better the guy who got a wave from Cat Deeley, I managed to get a kiss and an autograph. Plus the 12 of us volunteers also got invites to the aftershow party in The Lowry ( but thats another story ;) )
