Review

2005-06-04 - Simply Amazing....... submitted by Kelly

Where to begin??? So this was the first show of 5 of the tour for me. The first time I was on the floor at a concert, let alone a U2 concert. When I first got into the venue I noticed that I was one person back from the rail and a little up from where Larry would be playing the drum during Love and Peace but I didnt really care I was in shock over the fact I was seeing U2 in matter of minutes. So the Kings of Leon played their set which was good. I noticed that after they were done some how I had managed to get a stop on the rail, HOLY COW!!! I literally freaked out then. Soon I heard: EVERYONE, EVERYONE!!! and out of the corner of my left eye I saw a certain fly shaded man being escorted in between the catwalk and the inner crowd. Then I saw this man step up on the catwalk and low and behold CITY OF BLINDING LIGHTS started playing and the fly shaded man was standing RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME. OMG!!! BONO WAS LESS THEN 3FT in front of me. I completely lost it. I tried to take photos bc to no success really. The rest of the concert is a blur bc I was lost to the music and enjoying the fact that I was so close to U2. Another hightlight of the show was during "Streets" when Adam walked down the catwalk everyone was paying atttention to Bono but as Adam got closer to me I winked and waved Hi to him and he in turn LOOKED ME STRAIGHT IN THE EYES and winked and then PLAYED IS BASS RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME. This made my night bc I am a huge Adam fan. So there is my review lots more to say but no time left. The Goal is Soul!!!
