2005-05-28 - The Greatest Band in the World!!! submitted by Tommy McGregorI saw U2 last night (May 26, 2005) in Boston and it was amazing. My wife and I flew up from Alabama to see the show. It was my 5th U2 show and her first. We were about 3 people back from the outer edge of the lip and were within 10 feet of Bono and the guys when they would make it around the loop.
I've seen every US tour since Zoo TV and this was by far the best!
A few songs into the show they went into "Gloria" which I had never heard live (other than the UABRS video)and that was awesome. Otherwise, their set was what I expected until they came back for a 2nd encore and did "Out of Control" "Origin...", and "Bad/40". They are without a doubt the Greatest Rock Band in the World! back
