Review

2005-05-27 - What an experience...

First U2 concert ever and what a time. The people in the front of the line for General Admission got to hear U2 do their soundcheck (they played "Whose Gonna Ride Your Wild Horses?" and "City of Blinding Lights"). Al Gore randomly showed up in the crowd (probably not so random for a U2 concert), but then Tedy Bruschi, the 3-time champion New England Patriot who suffered from a mild stroke, showed up and the crowd went nuts. U2's set was good, nothing too out of the ordinary it seems with the exception of the snippets of Aerosmith. I was first row of the outer-part of the stage and was literally right next to the guys at times. The best part of the concert was when Bono completely changed the setlist and asked Adam to play "Out of Control." Awesome awesome night, can't wait for Saturday.
