Review

2010-12-11 - Magnificent night submitted by exit78

My 2nd show after the Vertigo tour in 06. This is my home city and it was great to see them from only 10m from the runway. Jay-Z was terrible and his fans were worse, well the 3 or 4 near us that pushed thier way to the front(mate and I held one of them back forcefully but there was no stopping him). The way they carried on in front of us really left a sour taste in our mouths, anyhow after Jwhathisname was off his followers also left the building and from then onwards it was a fantastic evening. I Will Follow really set the place alight and the boys did not dissapoint, Streets was totally EPIC, nothing comes close to seeing this song live ever. Rain started falling during Edge's solo in Magnificent but by the end of the song it had cleared. During Ultra Voilet the guys with the smoke machines were having great drama's it was just a little too windy. We could not hear Bono's little rap at the end of MOS unfortunatly but it was still a nice ending, though WOWY was so beautiful it could have finished the night with plenty of dignity as it did the 2nd night anyhow. all night long i was also looking forward to my redzone venture the following night :).
