Review
2005-05-19 - U2, Another great performance, but...... submitted by zootequeU2 put on yet another terrific performance. City of blinding lights to open was intense. Watching the boys perform Gloria was truely great.
While I was real fired up to watch them perform the mini Achtung set, I was disapointed. And I dont know if I should be....but Zoo station, The Fly, and Mysterious Ways, were watered down in my opinion. But reality is U2 are aging, maybe I shouldnt be disapointed. Alot less of bono and especially Edge performing along the catwalk. At one point, we even noticed bono limping. But seeing Adam suprisingly walking around the catwalk, with a huge smile on his face was very cool. And then seeing Bono hugging Adam at the head of the catwalk while Adam was playing his bass was so cool.....
Disapointed that NO songs from POP or Zooropa were performed.....But it was still and incredible experience.
Comparing this to Elevation the band were much less active on stage this time around......
