2009-10-02 - Vintage U2 submitted by peteMy 4th U2 show...the lads have really outdone themselves. The Claw is incredible,the video screen is simply AMAZING...truly brings the show to your seat. No fancy get-ups or subliminal messages...U2 just went back to the basics of rock and played their hearts out. Bono, as usual worked the massive stage as only he can, Larry and the Edge were awesome as usual and Adam...cutting the bass as only he can.
The lighting and sound...A+, Stage A+, setlist, A-.
Your blue room sucked the energy out of the stadium only because 4/5ths of the crowd doesn't know it!
Only two changes....play "40" at end of main set (replacing MLK), and open with Magnificent...much better open. Moment of Surrender was beautiful with the stadium "lit up like the Milky Way". The unified exit off stage was a perfect ending...way to go! back
