Review

2009-09-29 - Read Dan's *spoiler* review LOVED THE SHOW submitted by Alex

Everyone around me in Sec. 130/Rw 7-8-9 was singing and jumping! The energy was great from U2 and all fans around me.

I guess I am in the minority here because I really enjoy the NLOTH album and don't mind all the new songs they played. I would like if they opened with No Line or Magnificent but I was just fine with Breathe.

To me, they bring all the sprituality and energy into my being and I didn't stop dancing/jumping the whole time. Of course, being over 35 now is taking longer to recouperate than my first U2 show; UF.

They still have it in my book and this show was no exception. They engaged the crowd, sounded great from my vantage point and seemed emotionally into it too. Sure, Bono had a moment of missed lyrics, but, it extended the song.

It would've been fun to hear New York or Party Girl or something really upbeat, but overall, I found it to be yet another solid performance by my Irish brethren; LOVE THEM!
