2005-05-09 - Great as expected submitted by Bobby

Drove down to chicago to catch the show. Bought tickets through fan club debacle before detroit shows were announced.

Good opening band. Entrance of U2 not quite as thrilling as Rattle and Hum but still energetic. Great sound. Nice music selection. This was the first of four chicago shows i believe. Slightly predictable and not as spontaneous as i would have liked.

All in all, totally worth the trip. i will be catching them again in detroit this fall.
