Well here we go!back
I've been fortunate enough for this to be my third time to see U2, with whom I've grown up with, each time at Wembley.
The joshua tree tour takes some beating for me but, how special they still are.
I don't need to tell you a set/playlist, as if you are reading this you have already reviewed previous nights of the tour, to hear Bad, One, MLK and the very best of each album was sublime, I don't get excited about much now I'm older but , I sure felt that way last night.
The bands 'arrival' on stage was very understated and cool.Breathe opened up, the evening really became 'one' when 'Beautiful Day' began.
The Edge still plays that guitar in a way which makes me tremble, and even thoughI felt Bono struggled with his voice towards the end it was still remarkable and the energy from all is astounding.
We had seats as high as can be in the stadium, the feedback was dire on certain tracks, Pride and No line on the Horizon were in audible from a lyric perspective, there were a few dissappointed people at the back I have to say, but regardless a very memorable night .The set was amazing but the Music and the band more .
Please Don't stop yet U2. x
