Review

2005-05-03 - Ist timer! won't be last! submitted by Alan Fink

Was quite excited all week before show. It was surreal to be there. I was seated behind the stage to the left at the front of the upper Balcony, With the stage setup being open It was an aewsome Vantage point. The truly do play to the whole crowd. Great choices from the new Album , excellent standards, di feel as though the albums Pop and Zooropa were left out, which I'n my mind were well ahead of thier time. My buddy was also dissapointed that with or without you was exempt being one of their most commercially successful tunes. The interaction with many lucky concert goers in the the front rows blew me away! Overall a very energetic show, audience included, favourite part had to be th opening of Elevation with only bono and edge then pausing for the screams of "Elevation" from the crowd . I consider myself a big fan ,though their setlist embraced to truer fans with a revival of "Gloria" and finishing off with "40" leaving the fans singing the boys home as they had in most of their earliest tours. Damn ,what can I say ..I can die now lol!
