2005-05-02 - That was totally wicked!!!!! submitted by SarahMy first concert ever to my favorite band. I am still amazed! They put on a thrilling and stunning performance. These guys show so much love for the fans and put so much emotion into their music that makes everything that much better. It was really cool to see Adam walking the Elipse with the look of glory on his face, like you could see that he was thinking, "I am a rockstar and they love me". Bono has me completely mesmerized...actually they all did.
My personal favorite was Love and Peace or Else. That song is rough around the edges and definitely sounds the best live. Totally had the crowd going.
And a BIG thank you to the young gentleman that hoisted me up on his shoulders so the band could see my shirt that read "Bono 4 Prime Minister". That was the highlight on my night, with all the boys smiling at me because of my shirt. back
