2005-04-30 - Only one thing could have made this a better show... Only One submitted by CoVThis show was amazing. I've long been a U2 fan but in the past hadn't seen the value in attending live concerts. Yes I know.. I have seen the err of my ways. That said, the only thing that could have made this show better was if it were at Red Rocks. Enough on that...
The show was truely memorable and I want to thank U2 for still putting forth their hearts and soul into providing an amazing experience after all these years. You all truely are The Best.
One suggestion regarding concessions. Everyone knows how expensive concert souvenirs and we generally accept that as a badge of pride that we went live. Fair enough.
Some of the older tour replicas? were REALLY expensive. Like a t-shirt that costs $90. Have you thought about contributing the difference between the old/new to a charity? The shirt doesn't cost any less to US but the pride then doubles?
