Hey guys, just found your site. I was just at wolfgangs vault and saw they had a show from this tour. It made me think of this show so i googled old U2 tour dates and found you.

Let me start by saying I've been in the music business since 1979. From that date till now I've seen a lot of shows. Especially in the 80's when i worked at programming Album radio stations, I got a lot of free tickets. I like U2. I'm probably not as a big a fan as 90% of the hits at this site, but i like them. I say this to make sure that there's no bias here (truth be told I'm a much bigger Springsteen fan). But out of the 100's of shows i've been to, this show at Brown University is, by far, the best concert i've ever been to. There was something magical about that night with the band. It wasn't just because I was with the record excutive that Bono gave a shout out to from the stage either. In fact I meant Adam back stage several years later and brought it up. Actually since i'm here, let me look it up-4-2-85PCC. He didn't hesitate to recall the date and used the word "magical as well.

I still remember standing in a long beer line set up on the floor and seeing every head turned toward the stage. Thought U2 fans might enjoy my memory.
