This was my second U2 show. My first was on The Unforgettable Fire tour and blew me away. The problem with this concert was twofold. First off it could not compare to my first U2 experience. That show in '85 is still the best ever. Secondly, by this time I had discovered alcohol and I tended to over due it at big events (concerts, weddings, Friday nights, etc.) I think I spent half the show procuring beer and the other half drinking it. Of course this was the show that Bono injured himsef so I do remember that. And I also remember my buddy BDR blowing chunks on the way out. A classic come home from college to see a concert, meet up with your high school boys, drink way to much, black out, forget the details experience. I loved it.
