Review
2005-04-06 - The Most Important band In The World submitted by AFANA truly outstanding and memorable performance by the quintessential band of the past 25 years spanning their entire career. Incredible stagecraft and visuals making even the nosebleed seats an intimate experience. Technologically stunning with a retractible fiber optic curtain that recreated the Zoo TV tour atmosphere, but did not become intrusive or a distraction. The Edge was in top form, pedal effects and 15 different guitars. Incredible solo during Electric Co on a vintage Les Paul. Truly a band that the top of their form visually and sonically (sound quality was fabulous) and the setlist had something for everyone. The sing along part with Pride dragged on abit long, but, Bono can be excused his time on the soapbox. Adam Clayton and Larry Mullen were in attendance but not showcased. Best song: New Year's Day. Best visual: The F-16 in Bullet The Blue Sky. Best U2 moment: Bono with the 8 year old boy Jack.
