My first and only time seeing U2 in concert, and it was an outstanding show. Perhaps the reason I haven't seen U2 since is that I don't know how they could possibly top this performance. In the immediate aftermath of the concert, I remember describing it to my friends as "like a religious experience."

I had main floor seats and was about 100 feet from the stage. I distinctly remember Bono imploring security to stop harrassing the crowd. He said something like, "Leave them alone! We can all take care of ourselves, we can all look after each other." (Something to that effect, anyway). The entire Silverdome erupted in applause.
