After sleeping next to my car on gravel the previous night, we were ready for some fun on the last night of this 2-day event. U2 put on a hell of a show in front of what seemed like 100,000 people on the infield of this huge racetrack. Most memorable thing about the show was when U2 finished with 40. The pumped up crowd continued to sing "How long to sing this song?" for 20 minutes. Finally Bono and the gang came back out and played a littel more with Bono running along the top of the pit garages so the huge crowd could get a glimpse. Awesome night...awesome weekend of listening to 20-plus bands from around the world. Well worth the 55 Deutchmarks I spent (about $20 at the time).
