went to the tv club in harcourt street to see u2 as it sed on the ticket but they weren't there cos they were getting big and the venue couldnt hold the crowd so i got on a bus to the other side of the river and went to the sfx hall where big self were warming up the crowd before the u2's came on stage and blew us away with out of control though they didn't have much luck gettin us to sing along to the new stuff, probably cos most of us were out of breath from dashing across town from the tv club but it was a grest gig all the same and i was only 14 at the time and not meant to be there at all but nobody found out so all was ok except that bono told us all to go out and form a band which i did but we were crap so now i work for an undertaker burying dead people. rock and roll yeah !
