U2 acknowledged one of the greatest nights of their lives in greeting this Elevation audience... Their first San Jose visit in 1981 during their first US visit when 2,000 lucky souls shook the San Jose State Student Union Ballroom to it's foundation. Having been one of those folks, I appreciate so much Bono's mentioning that night. It was wonderful to see it meant so much to the band too. Needless to say the boys haven't done to badly these past 20 years since, and this night at San Jose Arena they kicked ass.

Thanks for remembering us from that magical night back in 1981 Bono!
