I was a 15 year old kid a t this show and U2 was my favorite band. I showed up at 1pm in the afternoon to secure a good seat since it was general admission. I ended up in the third row. About 1/2 way thru The Alarm's set most of the chairs had been removed to make room for dancing. Both bands put on a stellar show and U2 came back for several encores. I do not recall any booing and everyone stood and danced for most of the show. This was my first "new wave/punk" show and opened the doors for me and my friends to look for lots of cool new bands that the radio had largely ignored.
