We finally got to meet the fifth member of U2 Tuesday nightat Madison Square Garden. Daniel Lanois’ contribution to the works of U2 was evident when he joined the world’s greatest rock band on the Elevation stage. Acoustically,

’Staring at the Sun’ never sounded better. The chemistry between Bono, Larry, Edge,Adam and Daniel was strong and tangible.



Unlike Sunday night, Bono danced with an eager fan retrievedfrom the center of the heart and made every woman in the audience jealous for 2minutes. It was easy to separate theveteran fans from the rookie fans during ‘Out of Control’ and “11 O’clock TickTock.’ Once again, there was a touching tribute to Joey Ramone with ‘In a Little While” and ‘I Remember You.’ Joey was definitely at the Garden that night.



Where U2 and their music goes, I will follow, always.
