A few nights after the May 12 show I got another ticket, my friend Mikes brother Mark got stuck with a ticket to the last show, I don't remember the circumstances but I bought the ticket from him. Thistime we had floor seats, excellent seats if you like being close. We spent the whole night standing on the seats anyway so why they call them floor seats...................
Excellent closing night show, the set was great and the encore was amazing, nobody wanted them to leave the stage. This time being already been to a concert I was prepared for just another show--I was wrong. The dynamics of the audience were totally different! The crowd was just nuts--in a good way.
When Where The Streets Have no Name started I remember everything being quiet for the introductory notes and then thousands of lights around the arena lit up. As The Edge started playing guitar it felt like the notes were going up into the top of the arena and out of the building, it's hard to describe but it was so powerful and moving.
