I was a freshman in a NH college and a group of us involved in the radio station drove down to Worchester to see them. Our small group and the thousands of devoted Boston area fans (who probably drove back to see the band in BOS the next night ;) )made for a GREAT crowd.

A truly magical concert.

I remember Bono bringing a boy on stage from the crowd. The boy had an unusual name. Everet Peaceful. Bono's appreciation of the name Ever Peaceful was my first clue that he and the band were more than simply gifted rock musicians.

They played perfectly.
I wish I could find a recording of that night.
