My main memory of this the 2nd of U2 homecoming Gigs in Dublin was their tribute to Princess Diana who had died earlier that morning in a car crash in Paris. With an Andy Warholesque image of Diana projected up on all the giant screens in the stadium they belted out a very moving version of MLK where the lines "sleep tonight and may your dreams be realised" took on a poignant meaning to the extent that afterwards Bono admitted to the audience that he didn't expect that it would have affected him that much.
