What a day, Got bus from Bangor early in morning and already on the hooch. Got to Dublin half cut. Forgot about the Alarm playing but remember REM Squeeze and of course U2. Atmosphere that day was electric, crowds where great,weather too I think. Initally I got tickets because the Ramones and The Pretenders where on line up, but they pulled out a few weeks before gig. But I got to see Ramones in Belfast week before Croke park gig. I wont forget that day, it was brilliant. got home late to Bangor that day competely hammered as I had kept a 2 litre bottle full of Tennents Super on the Bus for going home. Those where the days.
