I was just thinking back of all the times I'd seen U2. This was my only Joshua Tree Tour show, and what I remember most is sleeping out for tickets and almost getting robbed, ah those were the days! I had 8th row seats and when the band came out they looked like extras from a Western movie. Great show, streets as the opener was an orgasmic moment for the fans. I think I paid like $17 for the tickets! There were rumors in KC at the time that the "Dalton Brothers" would turn up in country bar somewhere, but I don't think they ever did. What a ride it's been!
