Review
2007-02-14 - That was a good night. submitted by K. JonesU2 stopped playing several times during the show to demand that people in the front rows step back into their seats and not "rush" the stage. Bono kept threatening to walk offstage if the audience didn't comply. There was a little bit of mass hysteria that night...U2 were the newest and greatest thing at the time. Little Steve (Van Zandt) was standing at the end of my aisle, against the left wall and being a huge Bruce fan at the time I asked him to sign his name on my arm, which he did. He was very nice. He wrote "Solidarity....Little Steven". Back at high school I had my photo taken with his signature on my forearm but the photo was too cropped to really see it once finally published in the 1985 high school year book, you can just see a tiny little bit of the "S" in solidartity. I still have my ticket stub to this show. I was 16 years old at the time. I must admit...I think U2 is pretty corny nowadays but I'll never forget that show...it was really something at the time. back
