I'm a long time U2 fan and have seen them live 8+ times over 20 years. Yes, I'm over 40 and have loved their music since hearing their debut Boy in 1980. However, I have to say I feel the band kind of just mailed this last show in, and frankly speaking, it appeared to me that Bono might have been doing a little too much pre-concert, tour-ending celebrating as he seemed a little "tipsy" through the show's first several songs. And the whole schtick of bringing an audience member onstage to clumsily play along with a song seemed to only bring the show's momentum to a grinding halt. Overall an average U2 performance.
