Wow! My wait was finally over and it was beyond what I expected. Since my high schools days when I first heard U2's music (1981), I was drawn to their melodic magic and inspiring lyrics. For one reason or another, I just couldn't get to see them on tour when growing up on the mainland.

When I learned they were coming to Hawai`i, I would not let this opportunity to see them slip through my fingers again. The song selections were all I wished to hear, only wished "New Year's Day" was played ... but nevertheless, I feel awesomely fortunate to finally be present for the band I've longed to see live in concert.

IMHO, this concert was thee concert of the decade in Hawai`i. Props to U2's stage techs and audio techs who made U2's music resonate clearly throughout Aloha Stadium.

To Edge, Larry, Adam and Bono: Thank you, thank you, thank you for giving us (your fans) a second chance to see you. Your music has long inspired me and filled my life with many memorable moments - it's with your songs that I can think back to my high school, college, and post college years and reflect on the many special times in my life. Even when things weren't well in my life, your music found a way to reinvigorate my downtrodden spirit; and good moments in my life were elevated to great heights.

To Edge: God bless you and your family. May all those who are special in your life who face great challenges, be healed by God's blessed and gracious hand - as you have blessed us with your gift of instrument.
