2001-06-30 - This was the Most Amazing u2 Show I have Seen! submitted by B.P.

The energy and setlist for this show was one of the most amazing I have ever seen! I'm not sure if it was the band's extra energy b/c of the last night, whether it was the NY/NJ crowd's enthusiasm (everyone was into it), the celebrity guests (Pres. Clinton, Michael Stipe - REM, Beastie Boys, etc, etc) but this show was truly great. I'm so glad I got to see them in action on their last night in the US, esp w/ the setlist that they played (three...count em THREE curtain calls)....Rock on, U2!!!!!
