2006-12-08 - A Long Time comming submitted by Stuart DixonThis was one of the best concerts I have ever seen, you could feel the energy (positive) in the air. It has been 21 years since this concert but I can still remember it like it was yesterday! Like Bono saying " You have everything you could ever want here (Florida) except oxygin!
The band stayed at the Marco Island Merriott, my friend and I tried to meet the band while they were at the pool, but....... we got grabed by the security at the hotel. I have to laugh because yesterday I was sitting 8 feet from the Edge at a hotel bar here in Hawaii, and felt I would be bothering him if I went and said hello. Yes I will be going to the concert tomorrow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So I will write my next review a lot sooner than this one :-)
