2006-12-01 - Reality Bites submitted by Karl-Johan LundbergThe opening lifts the stadium, we're all on our toes across the ramparts of the stadium. Love is everywhere, litterally everywhere.
There is no end to the joy experienced on this very special night so many years ago. It was for me the death of innocense and the birth of new spirits.
We were friends of only a few days together and still we experienced an ultimate revelation that night, raising our bonds to all new levels.
It was definatelly a time to be a teenager with so much faith, hope and love in life; living for the day.
The sound of U2 has for ever since engraved itself in my memory and it only ever takes me but a few beats of any of the songs played that night to reexperience the sights, sounds and feelings.
Heaven forbid I ever loose that!
To U2, to those friends of passing so long ago, to all U2 fans: that night the music of U2 was an Epiphany to us all. back
