2006-11-30 - First time Live submitted by Ruairi O DulaingSupport band "Some Kind of Wonderful". Crowd did not like them. They were nearly spat off the stage!!!
Ticket cost me five pounds. Should have been at home studying for the leaving cert. Told my mother that I was baby sitting.
Place was full of punk rockers. The crowd went mad when U2 came out, they were much hairier then, you could see Adam coming about mile away. Tomorrow & GLoria the highlight of the show. Tomorrow especially blew me away.
Got crushed in the front row in my snorkler jacket. No such thing as seating or anything like that.
Bono was in the middle of his posh accent stage and never stopped jumping around the place.
Out of Control straight into A Day Without Me totally blew my mind......
I bought an October T-Shirt (black with October on it), when it was all over I sat on the pavement outside in a wonderful daze, had enough money left for a SuperSplit and walked a couple of miles home.
Jaysus it was brilliant. back
